What we offer
Psychiatric care for adults and teens, delivered by a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a licensed therapist, inside a physician-led primary care practice.
Psychiatric evaluation
A 60-minute first visit: your history, what you're experiencing, screening questionnaires, your goals, and a plan. In person or by video. Usually within 14 days of booking.
Medication management
Starting, adjusting or taking over psychiatric medication, with follow-ups every 2–4 weeks at first and less often once you're stable. If your primary care provider started a medication, we can take it from here and keep them informed.
Therapy
45- to 53-minute sessions with a licensed therapist (LPC or LCSW), in person or by video, for anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions and insomnia (CBT-I). Therapy and medication visits can be scheduled together.
Adult ADHD evaluation
A structured two-visit evaluation with rating scales, followed by a treatment plan. Learn how it works.
Care for teens 16–17
Anxiety, low mood, ADHD and school stress, with a parent present. Details for parents.
Collaborative Care with your primary care team
If you are a VPMC primary care patient, your provider can enroll you in Collaborative Care: a care manager checks in with you between visits and our psychiatric nurse practitioner advises your primary care provider on your treatment, so you may not need a separate specialist visit at all.
Ready when you are.
Most new patients are seen within 14 days, in person or by video.
